Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
Kennesaw State University is an R2 institution with a diverse student body (38% first generation, 33% minority). The College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) seeks to expand inclusive excellence in STEM. CSM has two Master of Science degrees (Integrative Biology, and Chemical Sciences) and is developing a Doctoral degree. The faculty of the College of Science and Mathematics is committed to mentoring our diverse student body and motivating students to develop into responsible citizens with a global perspective. Faculty will have access to state-of-the-art research space and core facilities, including confocal and super-resolution microscopy, microscale thermophoresis, and NMR (see https://csm.kennesaw.edu/research/core-facilities/index.php for details).

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for multiple nine-month, tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Professor faculty positions in:
We are seeking to recruit a diverse cohort of scientists studying important problems with biomedical relevance. Positions are available for candidates with research programs in the molecular basis of disease in model systems and will begin August 2022.

Responsibilities
A successful candidate is expected to establish an extramurally funded research program in the molecular basis of disease in model systems. Research may integrate genetic, chemical, biophysical, and structural approaches to molecular underpinnings of disease in cellular, tissue, and animal models as exemplified by

Teaching responsibilities (undergraduate and graduate) will be in one of five departments (Chemistry and Biochemistry; Molecular and Cellular Biology; Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology; Physics; or Mathematics). Candidates who are interested in adopting principles of active, and inclusive learning are especially welcome.
Professional service, and support for inclusive excellence in science and mathematics is expected.
