The Total Rewards Payroll & Benefits Specialist plays an integral role in our Human Resources team through administering our innovative and competitive compensation structure, regular payroll/benefits process, and critical people data management to purposefully reinforce Keyence’s Pay for Performance Philosophy. A successful candidate must demonstrate strong detail and solutions orientation, resilience, critical thinking, flexibility, analytical skills, and willingness to strategically support the attainment of our company’s business objectives and align with Keyence Corporate Philosophy.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure effectiveness of bi-weekly payroll procedure and accounting, benefits and retirement security programs, time and attendance administration, and Keyence’s compliance with federal, state, and local municipality tax regulations and laws
Manage the payroll and benefits transactional aspects of the role, including legal/compliance documentation, ad-hoc reporting, maintenance of internal systems and organizational infrastructure
Interface, proactively drive accountability, and build strong business partnership with internal departments, senior management, and various external and benefits vendors.
Analyze market trends and best practice to maximize pay and benefits programs’ competitiveness, employee and business impact, as well as internal equity
Collaborate with other, Human Resources team members, on a daily basis, to sustain and improve optimal HR operation including, but not limited to on-boarding, performance management, talent development, employee relations, compensation, & HRIS
Identify and promote strategic and impactful changes across various business and HR functions to aid in eliminating business risk and innovating our organization
Facilitates and manages multiple cross functional projects while fulfilling day-to-day responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Ability to accurately and thoroughly document, record, and maintain information and data integrity – the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to execute and manage multiple tasks and projects at once, prioritize accordingly, remain organized and focused, resiliently adapt to changes, and keep meticulous attention to detail
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify underlying principles and objectives behind current processes and policies and continuously improve them
Aptitude to establish and sustain effective interpersonal relationship and partnership with employees and management through adaptive communication skills
Preferred experience with ADP Work Force Now Payroll and Success Factors Employee Central or similar HRIS
Strong systems and analytical skills (Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Macro creation knowledge a plus
Knowledge on current employment laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
0-2 years of end-to-end payroll administration, tax withholding compliance, HRIS, compensation, and/or benefits administration experience
Experience in having transformed HR daily operations to an optimum scale aligned with the rapid pace of Company growth
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
Less than 2 years of Human Resources Generalist and project management experience
