Job Summary
We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our Development team. In this role, you will assist the Manager of Development in leading the team’s success in planning, designing, scripting, coding and executing a variety of different development projects and tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager of Development in providing direction to team members
- Create clean and efficient code
- Perform peer code reviews and verify code meets quality standards
- Merge and deploy production level code updates
- Assist the Manager of Development with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure configuration, management, and reporting
- Assist in application design and lifecycle management
- Break large subjective requests into clear objective tasks
- When needed, engage with clients when applicable with onboarding, demos, and support
- Help lead the team’s success
- Create end-user documentation
- Create and publish reports
- Collaborate with development team
- Achieve goals and objectives
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years with Angular and Node.js
- 5+ years HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
- 3+ years of Cloud Technology experience e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure
- Working knowledge of an issue & project software application
- Experience with developing and using APIs using JSON and/or XML
- Strong communicator, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently or in a team to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Follow coding and security standards
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Experience working within K-12 education
Fully Remote, but based in Shawnee, KS
