We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on SHOP upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

The custodian main responsibilities are listed below , additional responsibilities may be added and general responsibilities may be modified depending on work load, staffing or other management decisions.

• keep service department clean and organized
• Police lot for trash while walking to and from parking areas
• Keep service drive and surrounding areas clean, this includes sweeping and mopping of floors, wiping hand prints from walls, doors, railings, etc.
• Keep service equipment clean, maintained and stocked as needed. This includes sweeping complete service department, scrubbing shop floors with tile floor Zamboni, put shop equipment away and keep area organized and clean at all times.
• If all tasks are completed, check with other staff members or managers in order to assist and stay productive.‘

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
