**Job Description**
– Work with the design, R&D, and production teams to help translate our partners’ visions into real product
– Organize and manage inventory including prototypes, samples, color chips, and various R&D items to enable smooth product development operations, update and maintain online database component.
– Support partnership product development through logistical operations like mailing or delivering samples to clients, transporting samples to team members in NYC and our office in Newlab
– Create and maintain resources and materials to support partnership acquisition and the partnership product development process. E.g., templates, decks (powerpoint and Canva), and Mural boards.
– Produce mood and inspiration boards and merchandising guides for product development; ability to create visually pleasing presentations of our design and color capabilities for partners
– Provide design ideas and support for a variety of promotional materials, pitch decks, and web graphics; maintain visual style consistency across all design deliverables.
– Work within efficient systems and pricelessly execute our processes, while collaborating with the project manager and the CEO to support building company processes and systems as we scale and as they pertain to your work areas
– Plan and monitor product storage and dispatch; monitor stock control systems and process specific orders, ensuring every order placed ships quickly and correctly
– Manage special VIP request orders for KC product with attention to detail
– Deliver outstanding customer service, troubleshooting, and resolving issues from customers. Provide emergency expert support during non-office hours when required. Manage complex customer inquiries (email, facebook and instagram) by applying deep product expertise.
**Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree in design management, fashion merchandising, or similar business-focused degree from a design university
– Strong visual asset skills, working knowledge of programs like Canva and Mural
– Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy across all open items
– Demonstrate initiative, perseverance, autonomy, and efficiency on a daily basis
– Enjoy working in small, tight-knit teams. You’ll be an extremely important member of our team and will have the direct ability to turn effort into results
– Impeccable written communication skills. Effectively articulate information to both technical and non-technical customers.
– Organized, responsible, and motivated individual, with the ability to work well as part of a fast-paced team.
– Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new emerging products.
– Proficiency with google suite, deck creation, and project management tools, such as Notion
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
**Additional Information**
You should be able to easily meet in at our office in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and have a working laptop that can travel with you.
