Conduct new employee benefit orientation.
Assist employees with any problems/questions that may arise. Provide information regarding policies and procedures.
Assists production supervisors with completion of first report of injury and investigation forms.
Maintain records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purposes.
Support employee health and safety programs by participating in and assisting with the development and maintenance of safety policies, programs, and systems. Responsible for record keeping, reporting, and administering Workers’ Compensation.
Provides support for safety requirements as related to the HR function.
Identifies HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action and new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve organizational performance.
In partnership with Sector Human Resources, aids in the development, implementation, and administration of local HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance, consistency, and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance on HR related company guidelines and policies, as well as compliance with all state, federal, local, and company regulations.
Responsible for the management of employee and other HR records.
Create new hire packets and other HR materials as necessary.
Organizing and supporting employee programs and events.
Maintaining and auditing confidential employee files ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department – organizational announcements such as promotions, new hires, etc.
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Assist with all training initiatives.
Liase with payroll to ensure all documentation is received and changes are processed.
Support performance management procedures bi annually.
Support the recruitment efforts such as scheduling interviews with candidates.
Provide backup to the HR Generalists as needed.
Interface with management staff of all levels.
Data entry of time-sheets and payroll reporting. Ensure that information is inputted in company data base accurately and assist when payroll issues arise.
Assist with recruitment process: post internal/external job openings; source candidates for open positions; coordinates interviews with candidates and internal managers; track status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at end of recruiting process.
Creates new hire badges and lost badge requests in the Emerge system and ADP timekeeping system.
Manages new hire onboarding to include but not limited to: pre-employment background checks/medical, I9 verification, and new hire announcement.
Coordinates service award program.
Compiles monthly personnel reports as assigned and requested.
Assists hourly associates with the use of computer and access to various online systems.
Supports Accounting/Payroll/HR audits as needed.
Serves as back-up for Sr. HR Generalist and payroll processing, as needed.
Performs administrative duties for the HR Director.
Checks and audits timekeeping records for compliance with established standards, maintaining time and attendance records.
Completes various 3rd party requests for employment verification and government reporting.
Assists in creating a positive, happy, productive workplace culture through employee engagement activities.
Assist Managers and Supervisors with orientation of the temporary work force.
Prepare Attendance and absenteeism reports for full time and temporary work force.
Processes the temp staffing work hours to be provided to the temp staffing company’s payroll.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
Maintain personnel files of all plant hourly employees for all locations.
Administer payroll for all plant hourly employees for all locations.
Effectively manages the full recruitment function, including partnering with hiring managers to provide training on employment policies and processes, source candidates, evaluate personnel needs, develop job descriptions, and implement recruitment strategy.
Partners with leadership on talent acquisition, staffing and executes related functions.
Effectively manages the new hire employment process, including ensuring completion of pre-employment activities and facilitating orientation and on boarding.
Manages applicable payroll functions including payroll processing, reporting and relevant data entry.
Administer performance management and other talent management processes in partnership with local managers.
Supports the development and deployment of training and skills development programs to support critical organizational skills and succession gaps, as well as the development and implementation of employee individual development plans.
Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees to achieve the required results quickly and in line with company policies, ethics, and legislation.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Recruit office and plant hourly employees.
Work with Managers and Temp Agencies with the temporary work force.
Maintain HR matrix for full time and temporary work force.
Administer applicant paperwork and ensure it is completed accurately.
Running reports & follow-up as needed.
Handles the day-to-day office operations associated to overall administrative activities, including answering phone calls, greeting guests, receiving and administering deliveries, responding to emails, coordinating travel, and preparing documents. Always Maintain a polite and professional demeanor.
Managing HR projects as assigned.
Greeting & directing guests.
Provide support to the HR department to ensure excellent customer service.
Timely follow-through and attention to detail on all projects with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
