Responsible for tracking and receiving all shipments to the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Ensure product is received into the system
- Ensure accuracy of item description and counts for all incoming shipments
- Unload, verify, record, and label all cross-dock pickups
- Coordinate and manage inbound transportation of product
- Collaborate with inventory control and accounting on systematically receiving product
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to warehouse staff
- Assist in other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in warehouse management
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent excel skills
- 1-3+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, warehouse operations or related field
