Responsibilities include collaborating on the operational build out and execution of the sales plans and growth strategy for some of the 12 markets outside of California that we currently operate in plus potential future states that we plan to open. This role will also assist in the management of all day-to-day operations of the Expansion business unit including operations, marketing, and sales functions in select markets. You have prior experience working for a cannabis company (AU or medical)You have experience working in Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations and have successfully been a part of new product or market launchesYou’re able to handle a dynamic working environment managing multiple concurrent work streamsYou have strong skills at forecasting and/or deck building, and are used to managing to OKRsYou have strong interpersonal communication skills, and are effectively able to manage and report out progress both up and down the organizational ladder.MANAGEMENTWork closely with the General Manager of Expansion Markets to drive towards overall company OKRs and Annual Operating Plan.Build strong top-to-top relationships with assigned partners in each marketDirectly oversee and drive towards the annual business plan for some of our Expansion Markets, including leading monthly and quarterly business reporting and reforecastingOversee our bi-annual OKRs for the assigned markets, and ensure we are aligned to support and achieve themWork with a cross functional team of dedicated and shared resources to execute growth strategies and day to day business in each market.OPERATIONSOversee timely product launches in new and existing markets in conjunction with Tech Ops, Expansion Ops, and state partnersOversee new product line launches including new product lines, line extensions, and limited-time offerings, as well as manage the packaging and supply chains as neededCoordinate closely with a team leading day to day operations and lead bi-weekly operations reviews with supply chain, quality and operationsSALES & MARKETINGCollaborate with Kiva sales and marketing teams to build out and execute growth plans for assigned markets including marketing, sales initiatives, innovation – and any other relevant areaDevelop strong understanding of each market and work with partners to determine pricing and product strategy with the objective to grow each product line into a segment leader and the brand overall into a category leader in each and every marketPartner with Kiva sales team and each region to build strong relationships with key dispensary partners in the marketWhat we’re looking for…
