Essential Functions:
Ideal Candidate with the support from Unit HR Director participate in the delivery of HR and people agenda actions in the unit and support line managers in related topics so that the outcomes support KONE’s current and future business needs, attracts, engages, develops, and motivates employees and develops KONE as great place to work. Ideal Candidate will lead activities for area of responsibility associated with the performance management process (e. g. goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, development planning) to ensure utilization of tools by management to achieve business results. Collaborates with Unit HR Director and management to improve organizational effectiveness in business units. May provide input on change management initiatives and communication within business unit. Participate or leads special projects as assigned, conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations using project methodology. Provides coaching to business leaders on employee relations issues. Interprets human resources policies, counsels employees concerning work related problems and conducts exit interviews
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Behavior:
1. Demonstrates ironclad integrity and engenders trust amongst peers and colleagues.
2. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people at all levels and in a diverse range of settings. Excellent communication skills (written, oral, listening, influencing through compelling argument).
3. Ability to speak, write and read English fluently.
4. Ability to achieve results through influence, persuasiveness and change management.
5. Ability to analyze and present information to leadership that demonstrates business acumen that links HR solutions in the execution the business strategy. 6. Good computer skills and utilization of computer base software (strong Excel skills required). Prior experience in utilizing HRIS.
7. Knowledgeable in areas of HR including: change management, performance management, talent management, management coaching / development, employee relations, and legal compliance.
8. Strong project management skills.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
4-6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in multinational company.
