For over 40 years, KrekowJennings (KJ) has been fulfilling dreams by building works of art that our customers live in and around. We are well connected to the elite residential design and construction sector in the Seattle area and extending to the San Francisco Bay area.
As a General Contractor, we deliver value through transparency, accountability, fairness, and an eagerness to take on assignments that others cannot approach. This is made possible by our staff that lead with high expectations for craftsmanship, integrity, and creative problem solving.
KJ invites you to join our team as a Project Manager. Our PMs serve a key role in transforming our customers’ visions and design intent into reality. As a Project Manager at KrekowJennings, your role will be to work with the design team during design development. Being an effective listener and communicator is essential! Your empathy helps you recognize what matters most to our customer and their designer.
The PM provides overall management of the disciplines of budget and schedule and quality of the project. They are able to develop a project from preconstruction through project startup, construction and final completion. They work with their on-site crews throughout the project while ensuring the highest level of quality.
Candidates should be forward thinking, creative, organized and self-directed. We are seeking a proven leader with prior experience in residential construction, managing employees, interacting with home owners and working in a team environment – while meeting deadlines!
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of high-end residential experience managing projects, people and design. Less experienced candidates may be considered for an Assistant Project Manager role to begin. A degree or certificate in Construction Management or related field preferred for all candidates.
Candidates must have a complete understanding of residential construction procedures including general shell, interior and exterior finishes, and the ability to thoroughly understand architectural, structural, landscape, mechanical and electrical drawings.
Peers in your current role will describe you as a good leader, collaborator, and creative problem solver. They will be sorry to see you leave your current position, and will understand the great opportunity you are moving to. Your success with KJ will bring a plethora of career-defining projects, continually bringing opportunities for professional challenge and accomplishment.
At KrekowJennings, we offer competitive compensation, excellent health (medical, dental, vision) benefits, paid time off (sick, personal, vacation, holidays), 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company match, and a great working environment. www.KrekowJennings.com
