KUBRA is looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Product Design team in Tempe, AZ!
As a UX Designer you will manage multiple user experience projects and initiatives. You will aid the efforts of several departments within KUBRA to create the ideal user experience while also working to measure and optimize applications, solving end-user problems. Some of our products include: payments, mapping, automated messaging and preference management, and mobile apps.
Please submit a portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web-based applications, mobile applications, and consumer-facing websites and/or applications to be considered for this role.
What you get to do every day
– Use research and data to create optimal user experiences
– Define the right interaction model for each product use case and ways to evaluate its success
– Update, or create, interfaces to meet client requirements
– Create interesting and visually appealing interfaces for mobile applications
– Work with Sales, Product Development, and Service Delivery teams to create design solutions for clients
– Work closely with Project Managers on ad hoc tasks and projects
– Work directly with clients to provide consulting for products and initiatives
– May travel to visit clients throughout North America to participate in design sessions and delivery technical presentations and trainings
– Other duties as assigned
What kind of person should you be?
– Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
– Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Lucidchart, InVision, or similar; Figma preferred
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– A keen eye for detail
– Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still being discussed
– Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and clients
– Familiarity with design requirements related to the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
What skills do you need?
– Undergraduate degree in Interaction/UX Design, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Information Architecture, or equivalent experience
– Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web-based applications, mobile applications, and consumer-facing websites and/or applications
– 3-5 years of UX design experience
– Interest in continuing to learn about trends, best practices, and competitive analysis
– Familiarity with, or preference for, Apple Operating System and hardware a must
