Kum & Go Hiring for Recruiting Specialist – Solar Transport Job at Des Moines, IA Full Time

Solar Transport is seeking a Recruiting Specialist that will assist in in all aspects of recruitment and onboarding for Solar Transport. The Recruiting Specialist will process applicants, complete verifications within our applicant tracking system, and work to fill positions to maintain maximum capacity for the company. What you’ll do

• Provide recruitment support and assist in executing the recruitment strategy for all Solar Transport positions
• Screen candidates, coordinate drug screens and physicals, and complete employment verifications
• Track incoming calls to determine origin of call, prospective driver name, and contact information
• Follow up on requests for applications requested by mail, email, fax, or phone
• Complete all administrative paperwork for new employees
• Research and investigate new methods for reaching prospective applicants and make suggestions for innovative approaches

What we’re looking for

• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• High attention to detail
• Ability to communicate quickly and decisively with peers and management
• Strong computer skills specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
• Great interpersonal communication skills

Other key requirements

• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
• Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area required
