Kung Fu Tea is calling out to all baristas/ cashiers for our FOH team!

We are looking for a new team member to join our team at Kung Fu Tea at our Westwood Location!

What’s the Tea?

We are looking for a strong team player to join us as a Barista to prepare drinks from our lovely curated Kung Fu Tea menu. This role requires ample energy in a fast-paced environment, good team communication, and absolutely perfect for anyone who is willing and waiting to be engulfed by fresh tea and fried chicken every day.

No Experience Is Necessary

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving guests. We will teach you everything else you need to know.

About the job:

This position will ensure company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, making drinks that taste great and are consistent from day to day, maintaining the freshest products and best services delivered to each customer; following and comprehending the importance of proper personal hygiene and sanitation procedures:

• Greeting customers with a warm smile and friendly voice
• Taking customer orders promptly and quickly
• Completing transactions on the cash register accurately
• Develop positive work relationships with restaurant staff and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach at all times throughout your shift.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while providing a quality product and excellent customer service at all times.
• Handle all food-related, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures.
• Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our guests.

About You:

You are someone who has..:

• Previous kitchen and frying experience is always a plus
• Ability to work with schedule flexibility
• Team player
• Punctual; reliable; responsible
• Part-time availability must be able to work 20+ hrs/wk
• Full-time availability must be able to work 30-40 hrs/wk

Base salary $16/hr + cash and electronic tips (averaging $3.00 per hour).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
