Laderach Hiring for Distribution Center Director, Texas Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

Läderach is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Director to support its first Warehouse located in Texas. This position would report directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain Management.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Responsible for the overall management of DC USA (departments: assembling, warehouse management, online shop and order picking)

• Structured management of the departments in intralogistics and empowerment of employees through active coaching with the aim of optimally utilizing resources (people and material) and achieving productivity in accordance with KPI’s

• Is responsible for the on-time service of all customer orders

• Is responsible for the KPIs within DC USA and develops measures with the respective teams to achieve them

• Carries out continuous cost and process optimization within DC USA and documents success (chocolate fitness).

• Ensuring the optimal customer order process within logistics (picking, packaging, shipping) taking into account quality, productivity, utilization and transport capacity.

• Breaking down the seasonal fluctuations through planning instruments and optimal resource deployment plans

• Ensuring and expanding know-how within intralogistics through the use of skill matrix.

• Project work mainly related to US Distribution topics

• Responsible for intralogistics costs proportional to sales and outbound

• Is responsible for the KPIs in intralogistics

• Supervision and implementation of CIP measures within intralogistics

• Specialist responsible for logistician apprentices

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Five Years’ experience in similar Role

• Leadership skills

• IT/ERP skills

• Expert in Logistics Field (Intralogistics and Transportation)

• Distinct understanding of numner

• Experience in Lean production / Six Sigma

• Higher education in SCM / Logistics
