Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified Director of Talent Acquisition candidates.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Talent Acquisition provides strategic leadership and management of the District’s full life cycle recruiting functions, strategies, and procedures for both certificated & classified positions. Critical to achieving excellent hiring outcomes, is the ability to build strong relationships and deliver results in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment. The Director will partner with Human Resources Leadership, Office of Equity and Family Engagement and other leaders to embed equity and diversity principles and practices within hiring and employee engagement strategies to further our goal of a workforce that mirrors our student demographics. The efforts of the Director will be key to positioning LWSD as an employer of choice where staff of all backgrounds thrive. This position reports to the Associate Superintendent of Talent Strategy & Communications and supervises Human Resources staff as assigned. Please see attached job description for additional details.
SALARY: Director Level 3 – $189,970 per year, 261 days. This is an exempt position. Full benefit package included.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors’ degree (i.e. BA, BS) in Human Resources or a related field is required. Graduate degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience working in human resources, recruitment, education, or related field is required.
Three to five (3-5) years’ experience at a managerial level, or other relevant experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and ability required to effectively supervise personnel and manage complex projects, is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in human resources functions in a public education setting.

Background Check on Recommended Candidate: A reference check inquiry will also be made by Human Resources on recommended candidates. According to 1992 legislation ESHB 2518, all school employees with regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children are required to have a criminal background check, which includes fingerprints.
