What we’re looking for in you
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- MN RN License with regular renewal
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- Current ACLS certification. If not present at start, must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
- Stroke Care (NIHSS) required within 6 months of start date
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current PALS or ENPC
- Current CCRN
The skills/experience you bring as a RN – MICU
Preferred:
- Previous related critical care experience
- Charge experience
The purpose of the RN – MICU role
As a RN – MICU you will manage and provide direct and indirect nursing care. This position is responsible for the direction and supervision of ancillary personnel assigned to patients.
