Job Summary:
At Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), the Associate Vice President for Workforce and
Strategic Initiatives is an executive level position, a member of the President’s Cabinet, and reports to the college president.
Her/his primary responsibilities are to assist with mission-attainment, providing strategic leadership, increasing enrollment and retention,
developing and expanding (credit and non-credit) programming, and continuous improvement. S/he may have broad institutional oversight of
various department and initiatives, must interface with other senior staff, and will collaborate with faculty.
