Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time, benefited Faculty A, 2 level position. Starting salary range:
$57,733.00 $67,355.00/annually, depending upon experience.

This position is tasked with teaching Mathematics at the Albany
County Campus branch of Laramie County Community College, in Laramie, Wyoming and possibly on the University of Wyoming campus, also in
Laramie, Wyoming. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with LCCC’s establish standard of
curriculum. This position is responsible for fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages student success.

tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.

Essential
Functions: – this position is Exempt, i.e., is not eligible for compensatory or overtime pay

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
All LCCC faculty are expected to demonstrate proficiency in the competency
areas appropriate to their faculty level as defined in the College’s Administrative Procedure 2.17.1P. In addition, requisite
knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position include.
Possess knowledge of best practices in instruction and course
development.
Possess knowledge of best practices in course preparation.
Possess high-quality classroom
management and time management skills.
Possess understanding of learning management systems (like Canvas) and their
relationship to instruction.
Posess knowledge of quality instructional strategies and content delivery.
Possess proficient skill with use of personal computing applications – specifically Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel,
Outlook, and PowerPoint), library management systems, public access computers, and commonly used librar- specific software
Possess ability to develop learning resources and activities.
Possess knowledge of curriculum development and
assessment strategies.
Possess ability to manage conflicts, confrontations, and disagreements in a classroom (online or
face-to-face) setting.
Possess ability to utilize evidence/data to assess effectiveness and efficiency in teaching.
