Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Faculty B, Faculty 2 level position. Starting salary range: $64,147.00 – $74,839.00/annually, depending upon
experience.
Job Summary: Core responsibilities of this position include:
The Instructor, Mathematics / Coordinator
of UW Developmental Mathematics is responsible for the coordination and planning of the UW Developmental Math programming administered by
the Albany County Campus on behalf of Laramie County Community College. The Instructor / Coordinator will also be expected to teach Math
programming for LCCC, as necessary. The Instructor / Coordinator is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or
weekend on any Laramie County Community College campus or outreach center as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include
coordination of UW Developmental Math programming, instruction, instructional counseling, academic mentorship, scheduling of courses,
engagement of internal and external stakeholders, serving on various committees, coordinating and/or participating in school-based community
events and service-learning activities, and participating in local, state, regional, or national professional activities and organizations.
The Instructor/Coordinator performs all other duties as directed by the ACC Dean of Academic Affairs, the Vice President of Academic
Affairs, or the President or designee. This is a Category B (10-month) faculty position having a maximum of 187 assigned duty days and 36
workload hours. 25% of the workload (the equivalent of 9 credit hours) will be focused on coordinating duties, while the remaining 75% of
the workload (the equivalent of 27 credit hours) will be allocated to Math teaching assignments.
Laramie County Community College is

primary responsibilities of teaching assigned courses, holding regular office hours, being available for students, advising, and
collaborating on departmental objectives. In addition, all faculty work in alignment with the College’s mission, vision, and values to
continuously improve as professional educators and experts in their field. Faculty further serve the College in collaborative and collegial
relationships across the institution. All faculty positions may be required to serve the College on any LCCC campus and/or in LCCC’s
online environment. Student demand may also dictate instructional assignments during evenings and/or on the weekends.
Full-time
faculty are offered provisional status upon employment. Full participation in the Faculty Academy is expected throughout the provisional
period; faculty are eligible to apply for continuing contract status in their fourth year of full-time employment at LCCC. All LCCC faculty
are supported by the Faculty Academy within the Center for Excellence in Teaching.
Other tasks may be assigned based on
contemporary institutional need.
