LDA is an award winning design and innovation consultancy. We create products and experiences that connect people with brands. Located in Orange County, the heart of Southern California, LDA has been developing products for a diverse range of clients both local and international for over 30 years.
LDA is currently looking for an exceptionally talented, highly motivated designer with 1-5 years experience working in a fast paced design driven environment. Our ideal candidate has a passion for design and a compelling set of industrial design skills. You should have an exceptional sense of aesthetics, innovative conceptual development, strong sketching abilities, an understanding of manufacturing, strong research skills, the ability to work within a team, as well as the ability to translate brand values into great products. Having worked in a consulting office is a big plus. You will work in a wide variety of product categories, including housewares, consumer electronics, industrial, medical and technology.
Your responsibilities will include all aspects of the design process, from initial research and concept sketching all the way to follow ups with manufacturing.
