(This position will include multiple tasks, from recruiting through he admin duties) this position has opportunity to grow
providing both generalized and specialized staff assistance in a wide range and combination of activities. This position will provide administrative support, flow of department activities and general support to the plant team members.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
· Consulting with the employer and identifying employment needs
· Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education
· Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
· Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties
· Hiring or referring qualified applicants for the employer
· Conducting or helping with new employee orientation
· Keeping process paperwork and employment records
· Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing and recruitment.
· Reporting (yearly, quarterly, monthly and weekly)
· Recruiting Metrics (Candidate flow, Declination Reasons, Candidate to Hire Ratio)
· Responsible for working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process to make sure all information is accurate and company is compliant with employment laws
· Coordinates in-person New Hire Orientation sessions
· Completes employment eligibility documentation, including I-9’s and E-Verify in a timely manner
· Solid decision making and judgment skills
· Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
· 2+ years of Human Resources and/or administrative experience
· Great communication and presentation skills
· Ability to interact with all levels of the business
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Ability to interact with all levels in the organization
· Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities
· Effectively execute tasks
