LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teacher to fill a part-time ten-month teaching position in Lawrenceville, NJ. We would love to collaborate with you and help more kids journey towards their full potential.
The certified teacher will work in a unique outpatient treatment center, which involves working with adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.

Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 6 students within each group
• Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
• Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student

Position entails a 15-hour a week commitment, Monday through Friday, 12:30-3:30pm (or 12-3). This position is currently virtual but will transition to in person next school year. This position has the opportunity to add more hours and become benefits eligible.

• NJ Standard Teaching Certification
• Comfortable working with adolescents aged 13-18
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to students need
