We are looking for a talented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Generalist, who will report to the CEO, will be responsible for supporting the company’s HR department by conducting research, preparing and maintaining HR records, and providing support for draft. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and a solid understanding of HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Assist employee onboarding and help organize training initiatives.
Maintain employee records for new hires and current employees – to include licenses, I9 documentation etc.
Implements new hire orientation and follow ups
Organize employee evaluations in conjunction with leaders. Participate in the reviews as a second.
Listen to employee complaints and work toward seeking solutions
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Benefits management – (required and voluntary) work with Finance Manager to update and enroll employees in health insurance, disability, and retirement benefits offered. Act as a liaison between organization and external benefit providers.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
Generate and implement ideas for staff appreciation programs.
Coordinate employee engagement and other surveys.
Write reports on HR department activities such as turnover.
Network with other HR professionals
Aids in recruitment of staff including all professional staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
