Lebanon Lutheran School of Watertown, WI is seeking a candidate for their 7th/8th grade classroom for the 2021-2022 school year. The position will include teaching Math, Reading, Writing, and Grammar in a multi-grade classroom. This position requires a person who:

-Has a degree in Mathematics and can teach 5th grade Math to Geometry

-Must be able to handle day to day activities and conflict in a Christ-like manner

-Must have strong organizational skills

-Must have strong communication skills

-Must have strong time management skills

-Create and maintain a safe and kind classroom and work environment

• Associate closely with God through prayer, study of the Bible, regular communion and church attendance.
• Be open-minded, tolerant and happy in outlook on life.
• Use correct language, be tactful, courteous, an effective listener, warm, and use correct written forms.
• Be poised, punctual and enthusiastic.
• Be able to articulate clearly the objectives of Lebanon Lutheran School; evidence love for teaching children; attend, participate and be visible in church and community activities and understand Lutheran aspects of education.
• Be responsible for implementing the policies adopted by the Joint School Board and the principal.
• Be responsible for assisting with special school programs, religious services, projects and co-curricular activities which are assigned as duties.
• Plan for developmentally appropriate, engaging and meaningful learning activities
• Differentiate learning for varying needs of individual students or groups
• Establish effective classroom routines and procedures that support a positive learning environment for students.
• Address student behavior effectively and appropriately.
• Establish a classroom climate of trust and teamwork that promotes learning.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, commending and reinforcing good conduct and achievement on the part of the pupils.
• Ensure students are highly engaged in meaningful tasks, activities or work associated with learning outcomes.
