Job Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Responsible for hourly and salaried populations in multiple functions of human resources being customer focused, a problem solver, advocate for continuous improvement, and collaborative to execute solutions.
Uses multiple sources of data to generate solutions with input from other senior HR teammates to make recommendations to management before executing for results.
Holds themselves to a higher standard to exhibit the LII Code of Conduct and Core Values; including navigation of complex/sensitive employee related investigations which may result in termination interviews when necessary.
Proactively anticipate and plan for long-term human resources needs and trends in partnership with business while being adaptable to critical day-to-day needs.
Performs activities in functions such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, training, compliance, data analytics and labor/employee relations.
Participates with recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants.
Participates with managers and supervisors regarding job evaluations, accommodations and talent management requests.
Interprets human resources policies and/or the collective bargaining agreement to coach and resolve employee’s work-related issues while following proper employee & labor relations practices.
Conducts and prepares material for employee orientations and trainings.
Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
May provide technical guidance to lower-level staff.
All other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Knowledge of HR techniques, applications and programs.
Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
Must have strong written and verbal skills.
Ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and implement change.
