The Leonard Shop Foreman is a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality work and exceptional customer service. They lead by example through demonstrated hands-on ability and willingness to ensure each job is always done correctly and to the customer’s satisfaction. They provide a voice to employees and give them respect and appreciation.
The Shop Foreman works in tandem with the accessories’ installation team overseeing the installment of aftermarket vehicle accessories like hitches, step bars, truck covers, grill guards, lift kits, lights and similar items on customer’s vehicles. The Shop Foreman’s ultimate goal is a 5-star installation rating from every Leonard customer!
All Leonard Shop Foreman are inventive and excited about creating customized trucks for our customers!
Leonard is now expanding our wheel and tire business, so we welcome applicants who have experience and leadership in this area!

What will you be Responsible for?
- Complete installations of aftermarket accessories on customers’ vehicles
- Conduct necessary repairs
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Provide legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and company records
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry standards and best practices
- Cultivate continuous communication with the store sales team to ensure growth and process enhancement
- Schedule shop installation employees, ensuring coverage is adequate for the workload
- Coordinate with the store management team on employee communication and discipline
- Always maintain a customer friendly lot and facility
- Detailed inspection of all customer installs and repairs for cleanliness, completeness, and accuracy
- Ordering and replenishing of supplies
- Assist the store sales team with the parts and time required for all trailer services
- Accurate scheduling of all moves and readiness for pick-up by the logistics team
What are the “Nice-to-Haves”?
- Paint and body experience
- Strong mechanical skills
- Extensive knowledge and prior experience with aftermarket truck accessories including bumpers, steps, wheels, tires, lift kits and lighting
- Prior experience with spray-in bed liners
- Strong community awareness or involvement
