The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting is a key contributor in the monthly accounting close and reporting process, collaborates on a variety of technical accounting topics and projects and is a NetSuite subject matter expert from the accounting perspective.

The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor – Financial Reporting and is based out of our headquarters in Bend, OR.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

• Monthly financial close process including consolidation and elimination accounting entries, operational performance analysis and reporting

• NetSuite subject matter expert, works closely with our ERP systems support team to identify, trouble-shoot and remediate accounting related issues

• Maintain and strengthen the general ledger, collaborates on designing and developing solutions and documentation for new accounting standards, gain efficiencies and shorten the accounting close

• Active participant on multiple system implementation projects

MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience

• CPA or CMA certification preferred

• Corporate accounting experience including financial close, multi-entity consolidation and elimination activity, debt and equity accounting, analysis and reporting

• Advanced PC skills including Netsuite or working knowledge of similar ERP systems, MS Excel, Google Suite, Workday
