Lidl US is seeking a Junior Developer who will take on an essential role in development and improvement of our ERP systems. In this function, the Junior Developer will work closely with internal business departments to support the expansion of the in to new states & locations by producing technical specifications from functional requirements and developing the solutions utilizing the internal development standards & architecture stack. This role will receive training for 12-18 weeks with our IT counter parts in Germany.
What You’ll Do
Review the functional business requirements in line with the internal development standards & architectural stack
Working with our Business Analysts, design and development solutions for our Lidl ERP System
Development & Implementation of container based software solutions using C++ and JS-Frameworks
You will be responsible for developer testing and support of the solutions
Trouble shoot and investigate issues and identify supporting architectural & solution improvements
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related field
Knowledge of databases
C++ / .NET Core and ideally experience in developing in a JS Framework
Knowledge of web applications and / or interface technologies (webservices)
Independent and goal-oriented method of working
Experience in DevOps and agile thinking
Preferred Experience and knowledge of:
Vue.js
ASP.NET Core API
Azure EventHub
Kubernetes (AKS)
Docker
Postgre
Infrastructure as Code (HELM, Terraform)
German language skills
