The Role:
We are on a mission to hire passionate experts who value voicing their thoughts and ideas, who want to own both the problem and the solution.
The People and Culture team supports approximately 120 employees across different time zones, we will support you from day one in taking on the people operations of our US based offices in Los Angeles and New York.

In this role, you will demonstrate an eagerness to dive into our fast-paced environment to learn and feel comfortable responding to constant change, as well as, thrive in driving change yourself.
What You’ll Do:
Culture and People Ops
Help to nurture and promote Linkfire’s culture and values internally and externally
Provide an excellent employee experience within the company by delivering on transactional work related to hiring, people operations, and employee experience
You’ll maintain accurate and on time data in our internal communication channels, and maintain accuracy data management
You will write HR policies, and manage legal and contract amendments
You will manage international relocation efforts ensuring a timely and smooth transition
You will participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects, such as event planning
You’ll partner with the rest of the People and Culture team to share your experience and knowledge, learn from others, and align on new initiatives
Compensation and Benefits
You’ll work closely with the Finance team/Head of Talent, to deliver accurate and timely payroll information, including changes for monthly payroll, and ensuring full compliance
You’ll have responsibility for managing time reporting and benefit plans for our offices in NYC and LA – driving forward tight and efficient processes that are built to scale
Maintain fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that aligns to our company’s work culture and business goals
Set-up, approve, and maintain all wage and salary programs, including performance evaluations and annual increases.
Nice to Haves:
3+ years experience within an HR Operations or People Operations department
Experience in the tech start-up industry (data-focused roles is a major advantage)
A self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn
You’re organized, sharp, with fantastic attention to detail and above all, your colleagues can always rely on you
You are empathetic, curious and creative and are excellent when it comes to engaging and building lasting relationships
Collaborative team player with the ability to shift gears quickly and efficiently
A solid understanding of US employment law and state specific payroll processes
Previous experience with HR information systems, such as GreenHouse and BambooHR is a plus
