Description:This HR Business Partner (HRBP) role will support the Undersea Warfare Market Segment within the C6ISR Line of Business. The HRBP will provide lead support to the Specialized Undersea Systems Sub-Market Segment within the USW portfolio.
Additionally, this role will serve as the HR Site Lead for the USW Palm Beach, FL facility ( 300 employees) and provide direct HRBP support for Program Management and Engineering & Technology. The HR Site Lead portion of the role will include but not be limited to: coaching and confidant for the Palm Beach Site and Leadership, development of engagement, culture and retention strategies and rhythms, manpower and workforce planning strategies, external facing HR presence in the community as required, etc.
The HRBP will partner and collaborate with functional HRBPs and other LOB HRBPs. As a trusted advisor, the chosen candidate will be able to positively influence and impact the organization by building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions. With a comprehensive understanding of the programs business strategy and the RMS Mission First Strategy, this position will assist in shaping HR solutions to fit business needs.
The selected individual will be responsible for; succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development. Must be a self-starter with the ability to exercise strong influencing and decision-making skills as well as a good communicator who shares knowledge and best practices to drive organizational efficiency and integration. Must be able to effectively build relationships and interact with employees at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading special projects as assigned.
This position can be successful in a full time virtual capacity however preference is for physical location aligned to C6 sites (Manassas, Syracuse, Palm Beach, Colorado Springs).
A regular cadence of travel to the Palm Beach site is expected in addition to moderate business travel to support other clients in Manassas is required.
