We are seeking a dynamic and transformational Senior Manager to lead a team executing Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) for our SDA Tranche 1 Transport Layer Small Satellite Production Line. This encompasses setting up a new facility and production line for an efficient and dependable initial production run of more than 40 Small Sats. This is a schedule driven, firm fixed price program.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Lead the ATLO team and assigned leaders to create and execute a streamlined and efficient flow delivering 100% Mission Success, including the disciplines of Vehicle Integration, Electrical and Mechanical Test Engineering, Ground support equipment, floor execution by CTCs and Technicians, Production planning and Logistics, and Launch Operations.
• Manage ATLO recruitment, staffing, training, work assignments, performance assessment, and talent development
• Establish and cultivate relationships with Program and Functional leadership and customers
• Plan capital needs and use of ATLO common test equipment, tools and software
• Drive cross-enterprise ATLO affordability initiatives, streamline and improve efficiency of operations
• Integrate digital tools and technologies into the standard ATLO flow
• Oversee the outfitting and start up of the Small Sat production line for mass production of the Tranche 1 satellites, including additional capital investments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or other relevant technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in ATLO or Test Engineering
• Prior L-coded leadership experience
• Experience with cost account management and earned value management
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers and consultants
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with processing multiple spacecraft simultaneously in a production environment
• Experience in a firm fixed price, Go Fast environment
• Understanding of and exposure to LM Space ATLO Common Processes and Initiatives for System level test
• Knowledge of LM Space processes in capital, OH, facility requests, use of test labs
• CAM certified
• Strong communication and Full Spectrum Leadership skills
