## Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Growth Manager
**** is a leading AmLaw 100 law firm with 11 offices nationwide and is looking for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Growth Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid position offering two days a week remote flexibility and the opportunity to work in their offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, Washington ., or New York.
The DEI Growth Manager will work closely with the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CDIO), Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Operations (Director), and the DEI team to help manage the execution of overall DEI strategy, particularly as it relates to planning, developing, implementing, and analyzing DEI efforts around the Growth pillar – building a diverse pipeline of talent and ensuring professionals-particularly those who are traditionally underrepresented-have equitable access to opportunities, information, and leadership.
**Job Responsibilities**
– Assist the CDIO and DEI Director in developing and executing strategy focused on the growth of traditionally underrepresented attorneys
– Collaborate with the Professional Development (PD) team on current programs and processes, including the evaluation process, Path to Partnership, compensation, lateral integration, practice development plans, mentoring, etc.
– Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on current programs and processes, including the 1L Diversity Scholarship, law student recruiting, and lateral recruiting.
– Manage firm-wide and practice-group specific initiatives around DEI-related sponsorship and mentorship programming
– Manage DWT’s Pre-Law Diversity Fellowship program on an annual basis
– Manage practice group-specific DEI committees and initiatives
– Report and analyze employee diversity data
– Collaborate with the Attorney Recruiting and Practice Management Departments to coordinate lateral attorney integration priorities and efforts
– Assist professional development in analyzing, assessing, and responding to equity issues (including equity in access to work, leadership, social capital, information)
– Collaborate with staff departments as needed to work on issues related to growth
– Assist with various projects as necessary, including researching and analyzing internal and external data and trends
– Participate in continuing education on DEI issues and topics
– Must be willing to travel to other offices as needed
**Qualifications**
– 3+ years involved in DEI programming/initiatives in a professional services environment
– Experience in a law firm and/or as a law firm attorney a plus
– BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred; JD preferred
– Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to coordinate projects between multiple departments and committees
– High level of political and situational awareness, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
– High level of emotional intelligence and resiliency
– Ability to build meaningful relationships within the organization to help advance the work
– Strategic thinking, creativity and strong leadership skills
– Demonstrated ability to employ independent judgment in developing strategies and approaches to strengthen firm commitments, be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines, required
– Experience managing a departmental budget or similar accounting skills
– Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization
– Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to respond to a diverse user group required
– Demonstrated proficiency with the full suite of MS Office products, with particular strength in manipulating data in Excel
– Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner
– Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions with a focus on results
– Ability to work independently while also working as a strong team player
– Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with constant changes
– Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines
– Superior organizational skills
**Compensation & Benefits**
Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $115,000 to $130,000; in Los Angeles is $142,000 to $163,000; and in New York City is $150,000 to $167,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
