The Chief Compliance and Investigation Officer is primarily
responsible for overseeing compliance within the organization and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and
procedures. This is a Senior Management position responsible for planning and directing compliance and human resource investigation
activities for LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport campuses. This position addresses all aspects of compliance such as: research
compliance, clinical trials compliance, HIPPA, FERPA, and institutional and organizational compliance. This position is responsible for
conducting human resource management related investigations in a professional and objective manner. This position reports to the Chancellor
and takes broad direction from the LSU Health Shreveport Compliance Committee and provides subject matter expertise to the Chancellor and
the Committee.
Master’s Degree in Business
Administration, Accounting and/or a Certified Public Accountant with at least five years of experience in an upper-level administrative
position related to compliance, audit and/or investigations.
Doctorate degree and/or law degree, and any of the following certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance, Institute of
Internal Auditors, Certified Fraud Examiners, and/or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.
