AUTOMOTIVE CONTROLLER position in San Antonio, TX

This position is located in San Antonio TX. Mac Haik Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for an established AUTOMOTVE CONTROLLER at our Southway Ford location in San Antonio TX. Southway Ford is consistently recognized as one of the top four Ford dealerships in the country. We have a well established leadership team including the General Manager who has worked at the store for 24 years. Our current controller is retiring after many years of great service to our organization and we seek an experienced candidate to fill this role.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes and maintains accounting systems and procedures to accurately present financial information to both internal and external parties.
• Responsible for the dealership’s financial operations to effectively maintain fiscal procedures and controls, to analyze performance and to recommend action needed to maximize profitability to the dealership.
• Supervises the accounting department, business office and all administrative functions at the store.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required; CPA preferred
• Prior financial leadership role in the automotive industry
• DMS knowledge require
• CDK/ADP preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Valid Driver’s Licenses and acceptable driving record
