Job Overview
The Specialist of Outbound Transportation is responsible for store delivery transportation and furniture and bedding home delivery from one of Macy’s store delivery centers (SDC). This role may also have responsibility for any delivery hub operations supporting the store delivery center (SDC). The Transportation Specialist will collaborate with SDC operations and our dedicated or third-party carriers to optimize our outbound deliveries for speed, cost, and service. The Transportation Specialist reports directly to the Transportation Manager, Outbound Transportation. This role is based out of our Miami, Florida Distribution facility.

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll.
