Responsible for, or assisting recruiting center with the recruitment of management and non-management positions including advertisement placement, interviewing, and conducting background checks.
Assists with the communication and implementation strategy for Company policy and/or procedure changes.Conducts new hire orientation and onboarding activities.Assist employees with benefit program and Leave of Absence questions (FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, military, etc.).Maintains the Human Resource Information System and training database records. Creates reports, and performs payroll activities as necessary.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.Maintains organizational charts.Administers Company policies and procedures to ensure consistency. Provides input or helps develop Human Resources policies and programs that promote positive employee relations,Ensure compliance with all related TS-16949 and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.Ensure Key HR metrics are maintained.All other duties and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources Management or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.Previous experience administering government mandated programs such as FMLA, Affirmative Action, etc. plans is preferred.Demonstrated past record of sound decision making is required.Must have broad, basic understanding of Federal and State employment laws. HRIS experience required, SAP experience preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must be fluent in English. Working-level second language skills is a plus. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and directors, and to present to groups of customers or employees of the organization. Values and considers the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts and information typically taught during a four-year college or university course.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Entry Level (Career Band Level 5) typically requires a minimum of 0 to 5 years previous or related experience
WORK HOURS
Employees must be able to work additional hours and/or additional days during the payroll week which can be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Domestic/international travel with/without overnight stay may be required.
