Maine Medical Center’s School of Surgical Technology is now accepting applications for September, 2022. This 1 year program will provide students with an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the operating room. Students will gain knowledge and experience, both in the classroom, and in various operation settings. No prior healthcare experience is required to be accepted!
The Maine Medical Center School of Surgical Technology prepares highly qualified and motivated students to be members of a modern surgical team. A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) works closely with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, registered nurse, and licensed practical nurse to deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgery.
