YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Jr. HR Business Partner supports the local facility in Administrative, Employee Relations, and Recruiting activities.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Approve, verify and process employee time-off requests which require documentation, i.e. bereavement, personal leave, jury duty, etc.
Acts as initial point of contact for employees and supervisors on all employee relations activities
Lead monthly supervisor meetings and train supervisors on all appropriate policies and HR related systems
Drive High Performance Team objectives
Lead the Employee Engagement strategy, including the committee and activities
Responsible for assisting with ensuring timely employee enrollment in benefits system
RECRUITING
Activity pursuing hourly direct hire employees
Onboarding of direct hires and temporary employees
ADMINISTRATIVE
Manages employee badge system and is responsible for daily error addressing of timekeeping system
Manage employee attendance records and act as initial point of contact for employee questions/concerns i.e. weekly postings, tracking of max point level, closure of point investigations, holiday schedules and holiday policies
Audit HRMS data and Org Manager
Regular data entry in support of employee record maintenance in SAP, including new hire entries
Act as initial point of contact for all payroll activities and leave administration
Set up new hire files according to department standards and maintain adequate supply of paperwork
Other duties as assigned by manager
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
3 years of Human Resources experience
Preferred:
Manufacturing Environment Experience
SAP Experience

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
