Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join their team. As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will be part of the HR department supporting their Plainfield Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of human resources processes and best practices, strong ability in using MS Office, experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, and familiarity with recruiting through online job boards.
Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Location: Plainfield, IN
Pay Range: $25 – $30 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Facilitate daily HR functions to support the operations of the Saint-Gobain Abrasives Plainfield Distribution Center
- Use company record retention policy to determine what files to retain or destroy
- Assist with the talent acquisition and selection of new employees
- Onboard candidates in process to start through company onboarding platform
- Ensure pre-employment requirements are met
What’s Needed?
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Ability to work with ATS software
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
- Admin / HR Generalist experience in Manufacturing or Warehouse Environment preferred
- Ability to climb stairs
