JOB SUMMARY PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
We are hiring a Vendor Operations Manager to assist in onboarding and managing vendor relationships for the bank. This role will assist in following the Vendor Operations Program that protects customers, banks, and partners while delivering strong partnerships with Vendors.
This ideal candidate will work closely with the Department Heads to qualify, build, and monitor vendor relations and refine the bank’s Vendor Management Program, Process and
Design. The Vendor Operations Manager is responsible for managing key strategic third-party vendor and business partner relationships of the bank throughout their life cycle thereby ensuring that the bank maintains an effective Vendor Management Program in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
This role is responsible for overseeing Vendor initiation, onboarding, compliance, and
budget. Monitoring the compliance of contracts and SLAs and ensuring that processes are effective, efficient, and customer focused. Additionally, this role is responsible for collaborating with our vendor and internal business partners in designing and delivering the best practice in vendor management.
This position will be responsible for key metrics to measure Vendor Management Program results and will propose recommendations on providers.
The ability to be inclusive, complete due diligence, and deliver vendor partnerships that are mutually beneficial to the bank operations and customers are critical. Implementing best practice, educating stakeholders, and delivering Best in Class Customer Service is key to the success of our program.
Key performance indicators will be responsiveness, budget, compliance, and protection of our customers. Correcting identified issues, investigating threats and risk, escalating qualified issues with vendors, supporting customers, and delivering protection to our business is key.
