Position: 6th Grade Teacher

Reports To: Building Principal

Salary Schedule: Per Master Agreement

Qualifications:

1. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Elementary K-5, all subjects (K-8 Self Contained)
2. Additional endorsements preferred in the areas of Math, Language Arts and Science
3. Early Elementary Experience preferred
4. Must meet the “Highly-Qualified” Status
5. Develop and implement effective behavior management plans
6. Demonstration of skills in relationship building with all stakeholders
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
8. Must demonstrate patience and compassion

9. Demonstrate the ability to keep confidentiality in regards to the Family Privacy Act
