Currently the company is operated by the incorporators and second generation family members, however, the incorporators are planning to step aside from the day-to-day duties and responsibilities within the coming year which will create the need for several key positions.

Position Description: This newly created position will initially require the successful individual to provide the daily accounting and financial support services necessary to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the company’s monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
This newly created position is designed to challenge the successful individual (within a relatively brief timespan) to direct and oversee the company’s financial activities to ensure the continued growth and success of the company.
Position Duties, Responsibilities, and Challenges: The successful individual will work closely with, and report directly to the Company President, while interfacing, directly or indirectly, with the rental manager, vendors, rental agents, vacation guests, rental property owners, and the company’s CPA firm. Some of the duties, responsibilities, and challenges expected to be performed with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Perform the day-to-day accounting, financial, and related duties and responsibilities.
· Forecast, analyze, and manage the company’s finances.
· Assist with planning and implementing the company’s financial strategy.
· Facilitate, attend, and participate in executive management meetings and discussions.
· Coordinate company and employee insurance and benefit plans and oversee company insurance related audits.
· Work closely with the company’s CPA firm to assure the accurate and timely filing of Form 1020-S, and to effectuate any year-end tax planning strategies.
· Ensure the preparation and timely filing of the monthly county and state tourist tax/sales tax returns.
· Ensure the preparation and timely filing of Form 1099-MISC, Form 1042-S, and other tax or financial information reporting requirements.
· Perform other accounting, financial, and related tasks as needed and as directed by the Company President.
Position Qualifications: The successful individual must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations; possess and display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; possess and display strong time management skills; effectively, efficiently, and successfully delegate duties and responsibilities; andpossess and consistently implement strong analytical problem-solving skills.
In additional to the foregoing qualifications,a Bachelor Degree in Accounting is required as well as three (3) to five (5) years of public and/or private accounting experience. Although the Mid-Level Accountant position will evolve into an entry-level management position, no previous management experience is required.
Annual Salary Range: As a newly created Mid-Level Accountant position, the annual salary range offered by Marco Island Vacation Properties, Inc.® is $61,360.00 to $66,560.00. Since the position offers the qualified individual an outstanding growth opportunity within a relatively brief timespan, salary increases will be commensurate with the individual’s productivity, performance, and development.
