Adobe Research is looking for research scientists working on generative AI models for image and video synthesis to help us build the next generation of creative tools. We are especially looking for experience in video generation. We seek candidates with strong expertise in the field, as evidenced by peer-reviewed academic publications, combined with hands-on industrial research experience.
As a Research Scientist at Adobe, you will be joining an outstanding team of researchers building the future of digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop novel ideas suitable for academic publication, to mentor interns, and to participate in our university collaboration program. We also work with product teams to implement those ideas as advanced features in Adobe’s products and reach millions of people worldwide!Job ResponsibilitiesConduct innovative research and development in Generative AIDevelop and transfer novel technologies to Adobe productsResearch and develop novel large-scale foundation models in Generative AICollaborate with extraordinary researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to productionPublish and present your work in premier scientific venues in AI/ML or related fieldsProvide technical mentorship and guidance.What you’ll need to succeedPh.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML or related fieldsExcellent publication record in Computer Science, AI/ML or related fieldsExcellent communication skills and a great teammateExperience in state-of-the-art Generative AI technologies, such as GAN and/or diffusion modelsStrong record of publications in image/video generation and image/video editingExperience with large-scale generative model trainingPreferred experience:working with large-scale datasetsworking with product teams on technology transfersOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $121,300 — $238,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
