The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at MAT will be responsible for aligning employees and managers with business objectives. In this position, you will forge partnerships across all levels within the organization as you implement human resources programs and processes across all North American sites. You will be an integral part of the corporate HR team as we develop new ways to engage our workforce and serve our leadership.

Principle Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all site HR staff, division leaders, and corporate employees in response to questions regarding performance management, policy interpretation, and benefits administration.
• Proactively meet with division leaders to develop an awareness of the company structure and mission-critical goals.
• Provide guidance on workforce assessment, organizational review, and succession planning.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations with support from HR leadership and in-house counsel.
• Assist with developing and rolling out a company-wide annual performance review and salary planning process.
• Guide new corporate employees through first-day orientation and assist in creating and implementing a consistent organization-wide orientation program.
• Oversee site HR participation in safety committees, ensure all work accidents are investigated; post-injury processes are followed, and maintain OSHA reporting. Perform audits on compliance with OSHA standards and record keeping.
• Collaborate with HRIS Analyst in all headcount, turnover, and attendance metrics.
• Participate in the rollout and evaluation of training programs to ensure success.
• Participate and lead efforts across the organization for employee engagement and morale.

• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years of human resources experience
• Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations
• Experience working with highly confidential information while maintaining discretion
• Strong commitment to providing world-class customer service
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
• Proficiency in processing, reporting, and inputting information into HRIS; Ideally ADP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
