What does an Automotive Technician’s day look like?

Automotive Technicians perform maintenance and repair services to our clients vehicles. They perform all aspects of auto repair including diagnosis of electrical and fuel injection systems. They inspect a clients vehicle, inform the advisor of any issues and provide necessary repairs to get the car working effectively again. A clear understanding of how automobiles operate is essential to success as an Automotive Technician. Lastly the technician double checks their work and releases the car to the advisor for finalization of the invoice.

A successful Automotive Technician will have various skills and qualifications, including;

• Be able to read/write English
• Be able to comprehend wiring schematics
• Be able to stand, kneel, bend over, lift up to 50 lbs for duration of shift
• Be honest and hard working.
• A valid PA drivers license
• A valid PA safety inspectors license
• A valid Emissions inspector license
• ASE credentials and factory training a PLUS!

Automotive technician custom PAY plans we offer:

• Weekly pay $720.57 – $1921.17 depending on skillset
• Flat rate hourly pay with guarantee
• OR Hourly pay
• OR Hybrid pay plan

Automotive Technician experience requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an actual shop
