Position Overview
Assist HR team with internal human resources for MBE CPAs and Affiliates as well as assist Workforce Solutions with client human resource needs. This position will assist with recruiting, new hire orientation, onboarding training of personnel, as well as assist with external client HR needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Internal)
Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures regarding HR functions
Assist in recruiting, new hire orientation, and onboarding training of personnel
Assist with searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals
Prepare and assist with employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
Schedule or conduct new employee orientations
Assist with employee fairs and recruiting
Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants
Administer testing for job applicants
Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications
Assist with human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms

Assist in client human resource programs and projects
Provide advice and recommendations to clients for resolution of daily issues
Conduct research through various methods (data collection, surveys etc.) to identify a problematic situation or find the cause
Formulate practical guidance and recommendations to address client human resource matters
Keep up to date on current human resources laws and regulations
