MBI Industrial Medicine Hiring for Medical Assistant at Casa Grande, AZ Full Time

Salary: $18-$20/Hour – 40 Hour Week

Medicine for Business and Industry, (MBI) Inc. operates medical facilities throughout Arizona and Colorado providing occupational healthcare services for employees of our business clients. We’re looking for a dynamic, service oriented Medical Assistant at our CASA GRANDE location.

Under the Direction of the Clinic Manager, as a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors, Nurse Practitioners and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The goal as always is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

• Salary is $18-$20/Hour

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Able to triage patients effectively related to urgency and/or schedule
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports
• Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
• Check with patients and type up patients charts
• Prepare all patients for physical exams in accordance with company protocol with minimal to no errors
• DOT, Basic and Respirator exams
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Requirements

• Certificate in medical assistance / No experience necessary
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
