The Data and Reporting Junior Analyst will develop the reports and analytics needed to support the strategic and operational objectives of the department and will provide day to day support for Human Resources, including, but not limited to, RFPs, organizational structure (i.e., creating job codes, salary structures, etc.), benchmarking, data cleansing, and any special projects that may require the Analyst’s participation. The Team: This role sits within the global HR Operations structure comprised of teams that support Total Rewards, Visa and Mobility, Business Partner support, Project Management, and HR Analytics. What You Will Do: + Act as a steward for all HR data, enforce data integrity, quality and cleanliness across all source systems and processes. Escalate gaps and issues that provide input on data quality and governance. + Design, develop and implement new and enhanced analytics and queries. Develop and modify PeopleSoft reporting queries to analyze, validate and report insight. + Partner with the HR Operations team to define critical data requirements, metrics, and reporting frequencies needed to analyze current and future trends effectively. + Improve and maintain key headcount and talent acquisition reporting by defining metrics, validating data, and keeping data accurate across systems. + Partner and develop relationships with other HR colleagues across all disciplines and units to provide monthly and quarterly data, analytics and participate in special projects such as dashboards, surveys, and testing of new functionality/changes. + Participate in regulatory hrlink data audits when applicable (relating to job codes, action/reason codes, etc.). Logging issues with Interpublic Group that relate to PeopleSoft’s (HRLink) existing functionality or changes. + Own and assist with ad hoc requests, as needed. + This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or a related field. + Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in HR Operations, Compensation, or relevant experience. + PeopleSoft experience and the ability to write and modify queries preferred. + Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must. + Experience working with HR/organizational people data preferred. + Experience creating complex spreadsheets using multiple data sources, dashboards, headcount, turnover, and creating/tracking effective metrics. + Strong administrative, project management, and organizational skills, with the proven ability to take the initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities on time. + Proficiency in problem analysis, issue resolution, prioritizing, planning, and time management. + Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision and as an engaged member of the HR team. + Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. + Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. + Ability to properly handle confidential information, retain a professional demeanor under pressure, and effectively work with employees at all levels in an open-floor environment.
