Responsibilities

Manchester Tank and Equipment is hiring for full time Day Shift Receiving Clerk.  The Receiving Clerk is responsible for:

• Assist shipping and receiving, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Prepares customer orders for packing (address labels, shippers, pick lists, and distributes to material handlers.
• Prepares bills of lading for shipments.
• Enters data into computer.
• Communicates with customers and customers service.
