POSITION / TITLE: Temporary Human Resources Generalist
RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager of Human Resources
STATUS: Non- Exempt, Full-Time M-F
Assignment is up to 6 months with possibility of full-time employment

MISSION: Meals on Wheels provides a network of services that allow seniors to live in their homes with dignity and independence as long as possible.
POSITION SUMMARY: **
The Temporary Human Resources Generalist works closely with the human resources team and oversees all leave of absences and workers compensation claims. The Human Resources Generalist is part of a 3-person team and who will provide overall administrative support in the areas of employment law research, compliance, records management and will assists the Human Resources Manager with recruiting, onboarding, training, recognizing, evaluating, and off boarding employees.

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, and in accordance with the provision
of the MOWSF Employee Handbook, the Human Resources Generalist will:
SALARY / HOURS/BENEFITS: The position is a temporary Non-Exempt assignment is scheduled to work a 40-hour work week (Monday –Friday). Assignment is anticipated to last up to 6 months and could lead to full-time employment.
